(Stamford, CT – November 3, 2015) – Chelsea Piers Connecticut is pleased to announce they are hosting a Meet the Artist event to introduce the artists behind the artwork displayed throughout the Athletic Club.  The event will take place November 12 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm in the Athletic Club.

The three artists being highlighted are: John Zinsser, Charles Fazzino and Eugenie Diserio.

John Zinsser is a contemporary abstract painter from New York.  His art has been in more than 100 group exhibitions and 39 solo exhibitions around the world.  His paintings are mostly enamel and oil on canvas and his signature work consists of bright, bold colors, with heavily-layered impasto effects.  Zinsser has five large paintings on display on the mezzanine level of the Athletic Club.

Charles Fazzino is one of the most popular and highly-collected pop artists of all time.  His unique, detailed, vibrant and three dimensional style of artwork is exhibited in more than twenty different countries.  Fazzino will autograph 50 of his newly released poster print for Super Bowl 50 for the first 50 attendees.  Fazzino is from Pelham, NY and has galleries in New York City and New Rochelle. More than twenty pieces of Fazzino’s artwork are displayed throughout the Athletic Club.

Eugenio Diserio is an abstract painter and entrepreneur.   She lives in New Canaan, CT where she creates kinetic, contemplative paintings using both vibrant and muted colors in juxtaposition with evocative marks and brushstrokes. Diserio’s artwork is displayed within the Mind Body Studio of the Athletic Club.

Chelsea Piers Athletic Club’s art program came from a desire to have a space that is both functional and beautiful.  Great thought and care went into the design, architecture and décor of the physical club and to complement these elements local and internationally renowned artists were asked to contribute to create a visually exciting environment.
