The four remaining competitors in Saturday’s finals have never previously won the Canadian Championships and Saturday will present a golden opportunity for all four.

On the men’s side, the first semi-final was between Shawn Delierre of Montreal and Andrew Schnell of Calgary, and it produced some exceptional shot making and tactical play.  The 30 year old Delierre came out on top with a 5 game victory 11-5, 6-11, 11-6, 7-11, 11-4 to reach the final.
