Elshorbagy And Delierre Reach Guatemala Final by Nathan Clarke June 1, 2014
- Egyptian World No.19 Marwan Elshorbagy will face Canadian World No.71
Shawn Delierre in the final of the VII Torneo Internacional Sporta, PSA
International 25 tournament in Guatemala.
Elshorbagy, the number
one seed, came through his semi-final against American Christopher
Gordon with a comfortable 3-0 victory while Delierre was equally
commanding as he eased past Mexican challenger Alfreda Avila 3-0.
The 20-year-old from
Alexandria who has yet to drop a game in the tournament will be hoping
to get the better of the more experienced Delierre, the 32-year-old
from Montreal, and land his first title since winning the Edmonton Open
in 2013.
